"Sister Act" stars Whoopi Goldberg as a lounge singer who is forced to hide out in a convent.

While hiding out with the "Sisters", her less than holy behavior bothers the Mother Superior. But she has a gift for music and once she becomes a part of the choir, she turns it into a soulful chorus. The choir gets a lot of local attention, but hopefully not the kind that will attract the mob that is looking for her.

A funny, lighthearted movie, "Sister Act" is a film that can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages. It won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Motion Picture in 1994.
