All Black Cast movies are typically movies that have feature African-American actors and actresses
and are primarily aimed at African-American audiences.
During the early 1900s, there was a prolific group of pioneering African-American directors who made
all black cast movies. These films became known as "Race Movies." They were done with makeshift equipment
but they had wide appeal in the Black Community.
There were reportedly over 500 of these films made, but very
few of them are still around today. And an even fewer number are available on DVD.
