Movie Summary
Trick Baby is based on the Iceberg Slim novel of the same name. It is about two con men who do one
con too many, and discover that it may cost their lives.
White Folks (Kiel Martin) and Blue Howard (Mel Stewart) are two of the slickest con men in town. One day,
they take the con too far and it causes one of their victims to have a heart attack. Unlike their other victims,
this man, Mr. Frascatti (David Thomas) was the uncle of a local crime boss.
The mafia boss, Nino Parelli (Tony Mazzadra), wants to avenge his uncle's death. So he orders a crooked police
detective, Dot Murray (Dallas Edward Hayes), to find them.
The cop, however, has his own plans for how he wants to handle White Folks and Blue Howard.

• This movie is based on the book,"Trick Baby", by Iceberg Slim. Iceberg Slim's real name was Robert Beck. He became a writer after serving time in prison and spending a total of over 30 years as a pimp. His books reflect his real life experiences and give an inside account of life in the hood. He is considered one of the original Black "pulp fiction" style writers.
