Movie Summary
"Jason's Lyric" is a love story that unfolds in the midst of the hardships of ghetto living and family tragedy.
Jason (Allen Payne) is a dutiful son who's brother Joshua (Bokeem Woodbine) has just been released from prison. Something happened tragically when they were young that still stirs tension between them and their mother.
When Jason meets Lyric (Jada Pinkett Smith) he starts to fall in love. But as the romance between them develops, they both have to deal with other problems in their lives that are on the verge of exploding. Can they make it?
