Her roles were primarily as the housekeeper for the starring characters. Her most notable movies were Imitation of Life (1934) and The Jackie Robinson Story (1950), both Top 100 BlackClassicMovies.com films.
She also performed on television as Beulah (1952-1953) and as Louise in The Danny Thomas Show (1953-1954). |
